Lip Blush

Lip blush is a cosmetic tattoo treatment intended to enhance the natural color, shape, and definition of the lips.  By softly depositing the pigment into the lips, this treatment can restore lost color, improve lip symmetry, and create a more refreshed appearance while maintaining a soft and natural effect.

You May Benefit from This treatment If you Have:

  • Lips that have lost color over time
  • Uneven lip tone of asymmetry
  • Lips that appear pale or lack definition
  • A desire for a subtle tint that enhances your natural lip color
  • A preference for a low-maintenance beauty routine

How the Treatment Works

Lip blushing involves carefully placing pigment into the lips to enhance their natural tone and shape.  The treatment is customized to complement your natural lip color and skin tone while improving the overall definition of the lips.

Consultation Requirement

A consultation is recommended prior to treatment so we can discuss your goals, review your medical history, and determine the most appropriate pigment selection for your lips.

Healing & Results

Healing typically occurs over the course of several days as the lips recover from the treatment.  For most persons, this is generally within a week.  While you generally can go back to daily activities immediately, we do suggest that you give yourself a day to recover as you may experience some mild swelling.  During the healing process the color may appear darker or brighter before gradually softening.  Lifestyle factors such as smoking may affect pigment retention and healing.  A second session may be recommended to refine color and achieve the desired result.

Important Considerations

Clients with active cold sores, lip or mouth infections should postpone treatment until the condition has fully resolved.  If you have a history of cold sores, preventative medications may be recommended prior to treatment to reduce the risk of a flare-up.
